Awesome Friday, everyone! It’s the last day of the work week again before we know it! Today I’m back with some interior design tips on one of my more popular topics: color. And I won’t just be focusing on one aspect of the house! If you want a full makeover for your home, you don’t even have to buy furniture! As I always say time and time again, colors are limitless and will help you in achieving a new look for less!
To give your bedroom a sleek, contemporary feel, try a combination of a dark neutral shade such as slate gray and a bright color like lemon yellow. This way the yellow is not overwhelming nor painful to the eye because the gray balances it out. It also helps make the lighter color pop out in a tasteful fashion. It’s a subtle way to give any room personality!
2. Living Room
Give your living room a warm, countryside feel with greens and browns. Not only does it make everything feel cozy and comfortable, the citrus green also brings a refreshing mood to the room. Also, greens and browns give a natural, earthy vibe that will make anyone feel right at home.
Bathrooms no longer need to have a cold, clinical feel to them if you consider using the palettes above, which is a combination of peach, bronze, and white. Different from blues and greens often used in bathrooms, bringing a subtle shade of orange or gold to your bathroom will give it a warm, glowing feel, as if you were just soaking in a hot tub!
There are numerous other color ideas for other rooms of the house. Feel free to check out the rest of the article here.
Hope this inspires or helps you in your quest for home remodeling! Have a great weekend, everyone!
