Happy Friday, everyone! It’s already February before we know it! Time really flies by when you’re busy! Anyway in my last post I mentioned that I secured a new listing in Sharpsburg, MD. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you this lovely home on 3428 Harpers Ferry Rd!
It’s this quaint little farmhouse with 1.5 acres of fields and lovely views! The home has 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. If you like a little history, this house has been built since 1895! Of course, everything has been updated and modernized include furnace, air conditioning, electricity, plumbing and well pump for your living convenience.
Probably my most favorite feature in this house are the original exposed wood beamed ceilings. It really gives the place a very unique feel. If you’re looking to raise some animals, this is the perfect place for you! The lot has plenty of room for livestock, and the mountain view is great for grazing.
Sharpsburg is a small town south of Hagerstown in Maryland. It was first settled around 1740 after the end of the French-Indian War. As of 2010, the total population was 705! Don’t be fooled though, this town is historic for the Battle of Antietam during the American Civil War, where over 23,000 people died in one day! Yikes! Not to worry though, ghost tours aren’t a part of its tourism, so you’re all good! They do have a lovely Heritage festival every September though, which the townsfolk always look forward to.
Have a great weekend, everyone! See you again next week and stay tuned for more posts!
